Peter Hanssens
Founder & Principal Solutions Architect
I am both the Principal consultant and founder of Cloud Shuttle, a data cloud engineering consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. I've been recognised as an AWS Serverless Hero for my community work. I am the organiser of the Sydney Serverless meetup as well as 6 data engineering meetups across Australia and New Zealand. I am passionate about the intersection of serverless and data engineering. In my spare time, I coach my son's soccer team and enjoy family holidays to various ski fields around the world.

I'm a seasoned data engineer with a background in industrial engineering, DevOps and Agile development. I've spent years in the aviation industry, crafting data products that streamline operation and improve decision-making. My expertise spans across optimising workflows and implementing scalable solutions with cloud technologies. Outisde of work, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and volunteering with non-profit organisations.

I am Data Engineer at Cloudshuttle with a rich background in data, cloud and AI/ML. I bring years of invaluable experience gained through hands-on involvement in numerous ML and data projects. Besides my constant eagerness to learn new technologies and do random projects in my spare time, you can also find me playing esports and soccer.

Marketing and Sales Coordinator
I am a dedicated marketer specialising in content marketing, relationship management, and community events. With a Master's degree from the University of Melbourne, I leverage my expertise in communication, market research, and brand management to excel in my role. Outside of work, I enjoy watching sports like F1, football, and cricket, and spending time gaming on my Playstation.

I'm a passionate technologist in the field of cloud/data. I most recently completed my masters from University of New South Wales (UNSW), while being a student I have delved into various data engineering and software development courses. My passions outside of work include cricket and craft beer!
